The back of my envelope says 1-1.5% of TEC will leave for more conservative churches when all is said and done. I expect some in Pittsburgh and San Joaquin to return to TEC rather than lose their property. This is a microschism, and those opposed to women and homosexuals are a small minority in the church.

As you touched on, the real tragedy is that so much of our time and energy is wasted on these stupid arguments rather than preaching the Gospels. If we put so much focus on growing the church, think what we might accomplish for Jesus!Scotthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11802299645534988086noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10326675.post-23165784606997432042010-05-20T09:07:59.547-04:002010-05-20T09:07:59.547-04:00RalphM...sure. (Sigh... ) A sign that I am on the road doing really important things like going to a ball game with my son now in Boston with his family.

Thanks for catching this.Mark Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06871096746243771489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10326675.post-25616640341559568082010-05-19T23:24:26.899-04:002010-05-19T23:24:26.899-04:00Fr. Mark,
Can you elaborate on your statement: &q...Fr. Mark,

Can you elaborate on your statement: "AMiA is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Church of Rwanda and Rwanda".

To the best of my knowledge, Rwanda does not claim any ownership interest in AMiA properties, etc.

RalphMAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
