The usually calm and collected Mad Priest, aka Johnathan, is in a justifiable snit that his first blog scoop, namely posting the very important letter by Bishop Paul Marshall, got regularly forgotten by all, including me. It may be a first for him, but lordy knows he scoops us all on odd Google headlines, wonderful tunes, and fools gold.
I must confess that I gave reference to Daily Episcopalian because I went there first (my fault.) I referenced Ruth's site because she did the kindness of referencing mine. But the Mad Priest is on the case. I have corrected my post on the matter to reflect the MP scoop.
Having been first on the blogsphere with a number of items over time and not having had any acknowledgment I know his madness.
I will write on the blackboard twenty times, "I will reference the source."
MP, forgiveness is divine. I ought to know, having received considerable forgiveness over the years. Let not your heart be hardened or your servant be turned away.
MadPriest, calm? Collected? If you say so.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that if MadPriest is given the time to reflect on the importance of Bp. Marshall's letter, the matter of who first found the "scoop" will become of little consequence.
Or maybe not.
Mark, I have likewise publically recpented ... Mad Priest has his ways! :)

ReplyDeleteKJ,
Clearly you know few journalists. ;-) This is the sort of thing of which multiple generation feuds are made. It is a good idea that the appologies issued.
