By Bread with Gusto

In the midst of all the heavy stuff, here is a reminder that life and bread and sensual gusto and faith are all wonderfully intertwined. Nan Mein, a wise historian, knitter, and all around gusto sort of person, brought this to my attention. She is a better theologian than most of us so when she refers to a text, a book, a poem or in this case a video, we need to attend!

Here it is: THE BREAD PROFESSOR.

Professor Steven Kaplan teaches history at Cornell. Here is an article from the Washington Post about him. Nan was once in the Chaplaincy at Cornell and I suspect there is a story there.

This guy is wondeful, and so is the bread.
