Praying for Kenya

Archbishop Desmond Tutu has been working for a resolution to matters in Kenya. The reports on progress in finding a peaceful way forward following the elections has been difficult. ERD (Episcopal Relief and Development) is engaged in bringing relief to Kenyans. Yesterday Bishop Duncan, Moderator of the Common Cause Partnership, the Network, and bishop of Pittsburgh called for prayers for Kenya. This is a case where there is common ground in prayer. It is one of many.

Pray and work and give for the safety of the people of Kenya.

And note, our prayers for the safety and lives of others can be raised together by people who otherwise don't find themselves able to eat at the same table. At least there is that.

  1. I fully concur with you, Mark, and +Tutu & +Duncan in prayers for peace to return to Kenya & bring about change to bring hope to those who have violence as their means of expression, that this may be a lasting peace.
