In a lead up to the Lambeth Conference, five articles on the St. Andrew's Draft Covenant are being posted over at Episcopal Cafe. They are very much worth reading. You can find them HERE. I will have an essay posted there tomorrow.
The bishops will be spending some time discussing the draft and their comments will be listened to by the drafting committee. In addition to comments about the sections and appendix of the draft, we will also have closely look at the intent and use of the covenant.
Over on the House of Bishops/ Deputies list there is a string of comments on what is being called a "minimalist covenant." I hope the idea will be further explored.
