Gregory Cameron: The Hellins Lecture
The Rev. Canon Gregory Cameron, Deputy Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion, gave a lecture - the Hellins Lecture, with the title, "Anglicans and the Future of the Communion." It is a longish paper, but very much worth the read. It offers a way forward which in some ways is a reformulation of the basis of Anglican Communion solidarity in what has been called "the bonds of affection." As with any family those bonds are sometimes pretty elastic, and sometimes brittle. Somewhere between stretch and snap there is a future for us. Canon Cameron's essay sets out much of the territory for that future. Read the lecture HERE. High Protien Stuff.
