So here is what it says over on the GAFCON website:
"System Offline
A new website will be online this week
Gafcon.org team
Jan. 12,2009"
Jan. 12,2009"
How convenient: A new website just in time for the Primates Meeting. I wonder what it will look like. Perhaps it will look like a new improved Anglican Communion made up of churches that are the inner circle of truth and tradition in Anglicanism. Perhaps it will be more inclusive of the bible-belt of Anglicanism. Who knows.
The former GAFCON.ORG site was a disaster. Its last posting was to object to the deposition of Moderator Duncan as Bishop of Pittsburgh. Nothing was said about any sort of surge in numbers joining the Fellowship of Confessing Anglicans (FOCA) or for that matter about the notion that the Anglican Church of North America might or might not be recognized by GAFCON's bishops.
The last round was boring. Good luck with the next.
Still, the suspicion lingers....what's up with the GAFCON crowd? Is this the silence before the storm? What are these guys up to at the Primates Meeting?
Inquiring minds want to know.
