Moving On

There have been many things said about B033 and the need to move on beyond it. This 7-minute video by Integrity USA explains why the Episcopal Church needs to move beyond its de facto moratorium on additional gay and lesbian bishops during General Convention 2009 in Anaheim.

As we know, every episcopal election has its own issues and concerns. I believe the current Canons provide a sufficiently careful process to provide us with bishops who serve this church well and faithfully. Full stop.

  1. I think that video covers it nicely...I especially like the part about ¨moving on¨...being feardriven is not ¨spiritually¨ healthy for anyone...anyone means anyone.

    Thank you

  2. Thanks loads for sharing this video. That the realignment far right Anglicans seek to diminish baptismal promises through false witness against all the good, decent gay folks among us? Unbelievable, except of course that it actually happened in B033.

I'm hoping that the next GC thinks hard and long and deep and prayerfully, about maintaining this unjust - and above all, fake biblical witness - against gay believers.

Do men light a candle, then hide it under a bushel? A baptismal city set on a hill cannot be hid.

Let she who has ears, hear what Spirit says to the churches.
