A Prime Sort of Day: 43

Woke up this morning to find a message from Louie Crew in my inbox.

"We rejoice with you on this anniversary of your ordination. Your Order is holy, and God intends you a blessing to the whole state of Christ's church."

So I almost missed it - I was ordained Priest 43 years ago today in Fajardo, Puerto Rico by Bishop Reus . The service was in Spanish save for the ordination section which was in English. He wanted to make sure I understood exactly what was required of me.

I don't know what sort of blessing this has all been to the Church, but it sure has been a blessing to me.

Following Jesus leads to some strange and wonderful places.

It turns out 43 is a prime number. It feels like a prime sort of day.
