So, Thank You.

It being Sunday and all, and life being full, I am always ready for new surprises. A great one this Sunday was the opportunity to have lunch with a blog buddy of long standing, the amazing Wormwood's Doxy who wandered into the little village on the bay by the edge of the big water.

Blogger Friends
It is always wonderful to meet the real people behind the blog presence. In There are some wonderful people out there in Anglican-land, some with whom I strongly disagree, who are great to meet in person. So when the chance comes to meet someone who I both agree with and is a blogger of note, how could I pass it up?  It was wonderful to meet WD.

As we were talking about blogging and writing in general I realized that whatever else the blogging thing is about, it has been a real gift to me as a writer. Many of you have written comments and have helped me clarify what I was trying to say (often what I was trying to spell!).  Some of you have encouraged me to write more, or write better.  Some of you have told me to go do something else (but that's another story.)

What I am aware of is that I have not said thank you to you the readers of Preludium.

So

THANK YOU.

  1. Great photo of two I'd like to meet! And Maria is being chauffeured around in your neighborhood by Elizabeth. 2011 seems to be a record year for meetups. When Lee told me she was at All Saints Chicago when the Executive Council was there, I dug out the DVD and saw you sitting there in the back. Quite a clan these Episcopalians.
