Jena Nardella gave the benediction at the Democratic National Convention last night. She is founder and Executive Director of Blood:Water Mission. She is a member of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church in Nashville. She is young. Her prayer flows with the language of the Book of Common Prayer and the wisdom of a faithful agent of change for the better.
As long as The Episcopal Church is making it into national conventions, better to be young and invited to offer prayer than to be mentioned in an aside from a candidate about his company's success.
