At any rate, kudos to Susan. The honors she receives are on the one hand confirmation of her great work. On the other hand they are mere shadows of that work, a work of love grounded in faith. The work itself is the honor, and the honor is all ours.
OK... Comments, gripes, etc welcomed, but with some cautions and one rule:
Cautions: Calling people fools, idiots, etc, will be reason to bounce your comment. Keeping in mind that in the struggles it is difficult enough to try to respect opponents, we should at least try.
Rule: PLEASE DO NOT SIGN OFF AS ANONYMOUS: BEGIN OR END THE MESSAGE WITH A NAME - ANY NAME. ANONYMOUS commentary will be cut.
Aren't you the sweetest thing? Thanks for this, Mark! The honor of doing this work with colleagues like you is truly in the "infinitely more than we can ask or imagine" category!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Susan! An honor well-deserved, indeed!
ReplyDeleteMark, the sketch is, after all, a caricature! I wear mine proudly as my avatar. Mark my words, one day Pluralist will be famous.
As to your caption - well, I don't know what to say. I'll leave it to others to weigh in.
Honours?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry, but PAH!!!
And an Amen from me!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Susan. Your tireless work for the inclusion of all in the good news is reminiscent of the best of apostles.
