Gospel Tweets

Last week I imagined a tweet that would sum up the Gospel. Twitter limits messages (tweets) to 140 characters, and the question is could the message of the Gospel passage be summed up that way. Last week the tweet of the Gospel reading was this:

John 3:1-17

Spirit filled and freed up, we Jesus people know that God loves the world fully and accept God’s love as the be all and end all of life.

This week it is

John 4:5-42

Jesus is thirsty, so is woman at the well- she for life. Her hope is Christ, & here He is! She gets life & truth both. Jesus doing God’s work. She tells life-thirsty people.

Look to the right column of this blogsite for future tweeted efforts.
