The Haiti Solidarity Initiative

I have just launched a new blog on Haiti where I will post news about the initiative begun by Executive Council to secure at least $10 Million for the rebuilding of the Church in Haiti.

News related to that effort, to the renaissance of the Episcopal Church in Haiti, and to the ongoing ministry of the Church will be posted there.

As the initiative gets under way there will be a secure site for donations, but for now, if you wish to donate to the Haitian Solidarity Initiative send a check made out to DFMS to The Treasurer, The Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society,  815 Second Avenue, New York, NY 10017.

When the conduit for secure on line donations is up, that will replace this snail mail option.

Remember also that Haiti continues to be hit by new problems - storms and floods now - and Episcopal Relief and Development is constantly responding to those needs. Donations through Episcopal Relief and Development can be made HERE.

The Diocese of Haiti is an integral part of The Episcopal Church and we are all in it together for the long haul!  We want every Episcopalian to give from the heart of compassion that the Church in Haiti might recover fully and thrive.
